MARSHALLTOWN - The Kirkwood volleyball team won their fifth straight match Wednesday night with a 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-17) sweep over the Marshalltown Tigers in a non-conference match-up.
Sophomore Kaylee Schulte had a solid night as she led the Eagles in kills with 9 and added a pair of blocks. Sophomore Chanda Goedken recorded 8 kills and 7 digs while sophomore libero, Amber Pitz had 10 digs and freshman Morgan Guge (J.F. Kennedy) added 3 kills and 11 digs.

Kirkwood will be back in action as they make a local trip to Mt Mercy University on Saturday, Sept. 4th. They will play Southeastern at noon and Mt Mercy JV at 2pm.
