Make that at least 10 straight trips to the NCAA Division XI regional championship match for the Kirkwood Eagles volleyball team. 

It was a block party in Kirkwood's Johnson Hall last night as the Eagles swept the Southeastern Blackhawks in 3 straight sets (25-13,25-15, 25-13) in the Region XIB semi-final match.

Brittany Ambler and JoAnna Forkner led the Eagles with 8 kills each. Stephani Atwood added five kills and 8 blocks and setter Lydia Hahn added to the scoring with 5 aces and dished out 9 assists. Astyn Dove contributed with 3 kills and 4 blocks, while libero Alli Matthias frustrated SCC hitters by digging 12 balls.

"We were very disciplined throughout the match, and played with very good energy," Kirkwood coach Jill Williams said. "I am real proud of the way we played tonight."

They play Iowa Central Community College in the regional final at 2 p.m. on Saturday for the right to compete in the NCAA Division II National Tournament. The 2011 NJCAA DII National Tournament will be hosted by Owens Community College, in Toledo, Ohio - Nov. 17-19
