NJCAA on-line from COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -   The Division 2 Player of the Week is Jamie Davis of Kirkwood Community College (Iowa).

On April 9, in a doubleheader against #20 Blackhawk College (Ill.), Davis went 4-for-5 with four runs, one double, one home run, seven RBI, and one stolen base.

On April 10, against Ellsworth Community College (Iowa), the sophomore went 6-for-9 with five runs, three doubles, one home run and seven RBI.

The next day, in two very tight games against #6 Iowa Central, the first baseman went 2-for-7 with just one RBI.

In a big week for Kirkwood CC, Davis hit .571 (12-21) with nine runs, four doubles, two home runs, 15 RBI and one stolen base.   Two days in a row Davis had seven RBI's and her home run against Black Hawk was a grand slam.
