
Doug Wagemester begins his 12th year as the head coach of the Kirkwood Community College Men's Basketball Program. In ten seasons, Wagemester's Eagles have a combined overall record of 304-75 and a conference record of 143-18. Their accomplishments include: 7 National tournament appearances including 3 National Runner-Up titles, 7 Region XI Championships, four Regional XI Runner-Up finishes and 10 ICCAC Championships. During Wagemester's tenure, the Eagles have had 7 All-Americans and 21 First Team All-Region XI performers.
Darin is in his 14th year as an assistant coach for the Eagles. He was instrumental with his efforts on the floor and recruiting in bringing a national championship to Kirkwood in 1998. He has helped Kirkwood to an overall record of 360-91 in his 13 years. Darin brings enthusiasm and knowledge to the program, as well as a strong desire to succeed. Darin also is in his 14th season as the head golf coach at Kirkwood and currently works on campus in the Advising and Transfer Center.
A 1991 graduate of Wapsie Valley High School, Darin was a four-sport letter winner. He was a first Team All-Stater in football and third Team All-Stater in basketball while qualifying for the state golf tournament his junior and senior years. Darin graduated from Coe College in 1995, with a Business Administration and a minor in Economics and Physical Education. Darin participated in basketball and golf for four years, captaining the basketball team his junior and senior seasons. He finished in the top two individually in the conference golf tournament all four years.
Darin's hobbies are playing golf, watching sports on TV, reading and spending time with family and friends whenever possible. He currently lives in Fairfa with his wife, Anna and daughter, Nadia.Greg joins the Eagles for his 12th year as assistant Men's basketball coach. Greg is originally from Hamilton, Ohio but makes his home in Marion, Iowa. Greg came to the University of Iowa on a basketball scholarship in 1981. Greg received his BA in Liberal Arts and minor in African-American Studies. While at the University of Iowa Greg broke several university records including All-Time Scorer, Career Field Goal percentage, and Career Blocked shots. Greg was a three- time All Big Ten selection and had his jersey number 41 retired in 1985. He is currently number three on Iowa's all-time career scoring list. Greg was also a member of the 1983 United States Gold medal Pan America basketball team
After Iowa Greg was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in 1985 and played one season with the great Julius (Dr. J) Erving before continuing his career abroad in Italy and Spain. Greg returned to the NBA's Sacramento Kings for one season before returning to Italy and Australia.
Greg brings his unique knowledge and experience of the game to Kirkwood along with his outstanding ability to relate to young people. Greg enjoys spending time with his two children, Darius (17) and Kiah (16) and enjoys, hunting, fishing, and going to movies.
Greg is also a Program Manager for Kirkwood's Continuing Education division.

Quincy enters his second season at Kirkwood Community College men's program. Quincy's responsibilities include recruiting, player development, strength and conditioning, web development, and scouting.
