The Region XI Baseball Tournament has canceled the games for Thursday, May 9 due to the weather. Kirkwood will now play Friday, May 10 at 2:00pm.

The Region XI Baseball Tournament will be held in Waterloo on May 9 - 13. Thursday's schedule has been pushed back from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. Kirkwood Eagles first game will be on Thursday, May 9 at 7:00pm vs NIACC. The games will be available online. For more information click HERE.

Baseball's Dairo Gonzalez was named NJCAA and OC Sports National Player of the week for the week of April 22-28.  Dairo helped the Eagles to a 6-2 record which helped snap a 6-game losing streak.  During this span, Dairo was 15-29 at the plate (.517), with 19 rbi's and scoring 14 runs.  He finished with 2 doubles, 6 homeruns and 6 walks.  Dairo has signed a national letter of intent to continue his academic and baseball career at Missouri Baptist University.  They are currently ranked 16th in the NAIA top 25 in the nation.
