Jill Williams, a nine-time District Coach of the Year, and one-time ICCAC Conference Coach of the Year has compiled 525 collegiate victories, highlighted by an unparalleled run of success in 18 years at Kirkwood Community College.  She is currently ranked within the top-twenty of the NJCAA volleyball coaching records (active coaches in all divisions).

Williams’ Eagles have won seven Iowa Community College Athletic Conference regular-season championships. They have qualified for the NJCAA Division II Tournament nine times (2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019, 2021(*spring), 2021, 2022). Placing at each National Tournament showing, (6^th, 9^th, 7^th, 7^th, 4^th, 9^th, 7^th, 8^th and 8^th).

Kirkwood has reeled off 15 straight seasons with a .595 record or better. The Eagles are 149-32 against ICCAC foes during Williams’ tenure. They have landed 21 volleyball All-Americans in Ava Morris (First Team), Alyssa Tegeler (Honorable Mention), Emily Strauss (First Team) Katie Kopriva (Second Team, 2021 and spring *2021) Anna Gorsich (First Team, *2021, Honorable Mention, 2019), Alexa Aldrich-Ingram (First Team, 2018), Ady Wintermote (Second Team, 2017), Madsy Richards (First Team, 2016), Alex Miner (Honorable Mention, 2016), Halle Lueck (First Team, 2015), Erin Wenzel (Second Team, 2015), Heather Poula (First Team, 2014, 2013), Alexus Litts (First Team, 2012), Ashley Gonzalez (SecondTeam, 2012), JoAnna Forkner (Second Team, 2011), Chanda Goedken (First Team, 2010), Chanda Goedken & Heather Brus (Second Team, 2009).

Williams has coached 145 combined all-conference selections and all-region performers during her time at KCC. Kirkwood has boasted the conference’s Player of the Year once since being established in 2016.

Williams, Sports Information and Student Enrichment Coordinator received a bachelor's degree in Physical Education k-12 and Recreation Administration from Upper Iowa University in 1993.

From 1998-2004, Williams was the assistant volleyball coach at Upper Iowa University.

From 1996-98, Williams was an assistant women’s basketball coach at Quincy University.

Jill Williams joined the Kirkwood Athletic Department in the Spring of 2005 and is a native of Fayette, Iowa.  Williams has experience coaching at numerous volleyball camps and clinics and has been involved with the USAV Iowa Region High-Performance program since 2010
