Kirkwood Men’s Golf Announces Spring 2021 Schedule
Cedar Rapids – Kirkwood head men's golf coach Darin Pint has announced the spring 2021 schedule. The Eagles are scheduled to play in seven tournaments this spring.
Kirkwood will open the spring season going to The Evangel University Invite, in Springfield. MO on March 8-9. The second tournament on the Eagle schedule will be the Spring Men's Music City Invite in Nashville, TN. The Eagles will then head to Panora, IA. to play in the Jamestown Invitational March 22-23 and will host the Eagle Spring Classic at Hunter's Ridge Golf Course March 28-29. The month of April will lead the Eagles to the Wartburg Invite on Apr 2-3, they will then play at the ICCC Invite in Fort Dodge on Apr. 9-10. April 17-18 the Eagles will head back out of state to play in the Illinois College Blueboy Invite in Jacksonville, IL. Kirkwood will finish the regular season with the RedTail Spring Shootout at Fox Ridge Golf Club in Dike on April 22.
The Region XI Golf Championship is scheduled for May 1-2 at the Blue Top Ridge Golf Course, in Riverside. Qualifiers for the NJCAA National Tournament will play at The Golf Club at Swan Lake Resort, Plymouth, IN.
The Kirkwood Eagles continued their reign as the No. 1 team in the country after earning four first-place votes in the latest Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.
