Kirkwood Golf Takes 2nd at NJCAA Fall Preview

Plymouth, IN- The Kirkwood men's golf team turned in an impressive showing at the NJCAA Division II Fall Championship Preview at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana, finishing second overall at even par (E) across three rounds. The Eagles were steady throughout the week, proving they can compete with the best in the nation.

Roberts Leads the Way

Freshman Dean Roberts paced Kirkwood with a standout performance, firing a three-round total of 212 (-4) to finish in 5th place individually. Roberts showcased his consistency with a brilliant second-round 66 (-6) that propelled him into contention.

Hall and Zoske Provide Depth

Sophomore Reid Hall was steady across the tournament, carding a 72 (E), 69 (-3), and 74 (+2) for a -1 finish overall, good for a tie for 12th place.
Freshman Isaiah Zoske also delivered for the Eagles, finishing even par across three rounds to secure a tie for 15th place.

Team Effort

As a group, Kirkwood's lineup combined for an even-par finish, placing them second behind Heartland Community College (-13). The Eagles' balance was on full display, with three players finishing in the top 15, setting the tone for a strong fall campaign.
