ICCAC Announces Postseason Awards for Division II Volleyball
The ICCAC announced the Region XI postseason awards on Monday.
Iowa Central took the top spot yet again, finishing the season 9-0 in the conference, Hawkeye finished second, (8-1), and Kirkwood third, (7-2) in the conference rankings.
The XI-B Champion Kirkwood Eagles added two players to First Team All-Region and All-Conference. Emily Strauss is ranked fourth in the ICCAC for kills per set (3.44) and second in kills (457). Strauss is 11th in total attacks in the NJCAA. Katie Kopriva is 10th in the ICCAC for kills per set (2.74) and is 25th in the NJCAA for total attacks. Joining Strauss and Kopriva on the all-conference list were So. Rachael Nelson, Kamara Dickerson, and Jada Golden-Smith as Second Team selections. Takoa Kopriva and Dani Stock were both recognized as All-Conference Honorable Mention selections.
