Pendergast and Beuter named ICCAC Player and Pitcher of the Week

Kirkwood had a great week last week going 5-1 including taking three of four from Indian Hills. One of the Eagles who stood out above the rest was freshman Alex Pendergast, who touched up opposing pitchers batting .500 (12-24) He had three games with three hits. In all, Pendergast hit two homers, a triple and a double and eight singles. He drove in 11 runs to help his team outscore opponents 47-30. Pendergast is second in the ICCAC in batting average (.446) on-base percentage (.548) and RBIs (45).

Reece Beuter
Freshman | RHP

Kirkwood's Reece Beuter had an exceptional outing last week against Indian Hills. The freshman may have only struck out three batters in his six innings of work, but the Cedar Falls freshman stifled the Warrior offense giving up just two hits and didn't allow a run. Beuter is rolling of late, in his last two starts, he has logged 13 innings, struck out 12, and allowed six hits.
