#4 Kirkwood Sweeps #15 DMACC
Cedar Rapids, IA- The No. 4 Kirkwood Eagles stayed unbeaten with a straight-set victory over No. 15 DMACC on Wednesday evening, winning 25–8, 25–14, 25–23 to improve to 6–0.
Setter Kaci Johnson powered the offense with 11 kills on a .348 clip while adding 15 assists and 2 aces. Marissa Cahoy chipped in 9 kills, and middle Chloe Baez was ultra-efficient at .625 (5 kills on 8 swings). Madalyn Boyer added 5 kills, 3 aces, and 3 block assists for 11.0 points. As a team, Kirkwood hit .293 with 41 kills and 10 aces.
Defensively, libero Natalee Hartman led with 12 digs, while Abbie Staats and Avery Knoop added 6 digs each.
