#5 Kirkwood Men’s Basketball Rolls Past NIACC, 99–83
MASON CITY, Iowa — The #5 Kirkwood Eagles picked up a strong ICCAC road win on Wednesday night, defeating NIACC 99–83 behind efficient scoring and dominant inside play.
Sophomore forward Tyler Netolicky powered the victory with 21 points and 16 rebounds, controlling the paint from start to finish. Kirkwood's balanced attack shined once again, with five Eagles scoring in double figures. Manasse Kasongo added 13 points and 6 rebounds off the bench, while Cole Marsh, JJ Ware, and Grayson Wollum each chipped in 10.
The Eagles shot 54% from the field, assisted on 26 baskets, and held a steady edge on the boards. Ben Bockman's 6 assists and Yaris Irby's 9 points, 4 assists, and 3 steals helped control the tempo and keep Kirkwood in command.
