Coleman’s Game-Winner Lifts #8 Kirkwood Over #4 Iowa Central

FORT DODGE, Iowa — The #8 Kirkwood Eagles earned a massive road win Wednesday night, defeating #4 Iowa Central 82–80 thanks to a clutch, last-second three-pointer from Chris Coleman.

The Eagles trailed most of the night but stayed within striking distance behind strong bench play and a huge second half offensively. Coleman delivered the decisive blow in the final seconds, pulling up from behind the arc and burying the game-winning triple to put Kirkwood ahead by two, securing the victory.

Kirkwood shot 60% in the second half and had five players score in double figures. Cole Marsh led with 17 points, while Coleman added 16, including four threes. Tyler Netolicky anchored the interior with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Manasse Kasongo was perfect from the field, scoring 11, and Richard Lindsey Jr. chipped in 7 off the bench.

The win pushes the Eagles to 9–3 overall and gives them a strong bounce-back moment in conference play.
