Todd Rima Named New Kirkwood Athletic Director

Cedar Rapids, IA- Todd Rima has been named the new Director of Athletics at Kirkwood Community College. Rima replaces Doug Wagemester who served in the position for the past 26 years. Rima has been the Kirkwood Baseball Head Coach for the past 12 years and comes into the position with over 20 years of experience in student services and athletics. Over his 12 seasons, he has led the Eagles to a staggering 421 wins while placing an emphasis on player development and the student-athlete experience. 

"I am extremely excited to be named the Athletic Director at Kirkwood," said Rima. "I want to thank Kristie Fisher and Melissa Payne for their belief in my vision for the department.  I can't wait to get started and work with our coaches and student-athletes."

Todd will continue his role as the head baseball coach in addition to taking on the duties of Athletic Director.
