Men's Basketball National Championship Celebration
The Kirkwood men's basketball team won the NJCAA Division II National Championship on March 22, 2025, in Danville, Illinois. In addition to the national title, three Eagles were named to the All-Tournament Team and Head Coach Tim Sandquist was named Coach of the Tournament. It truly was an incredible season and tournament run by the team.
In honor of this momentous achievement, there will be a celebration to honor the team on Tuesday, April 1st , at 11:15 a.m. in Johnson Hall. Members of the team and coaching staff will be on hand as well. As part of the celebration, cake and drinks will be served.
Everyone is invited to attend the celebration if their schedule allows.
