Kirkwood Softball Earns the 6 Seed at NJCAA DII Softball World Series

Oxford, AL- The Kirkwood Softball Team received the #6 seed at the NJCAA DII National Softball World Series being held at Choccolocco Park in Oxford Alabama from 5/19-5/24. This comes off the heels of Kirkwood defeating Central Community College in the 2025 NJCAA DII Softball Northwest Plains A District Championship. The team will play the #11 seed Johnson County at 5PM on Monday 5/19. This tournament appearance marks the tenth year in a row (since 2015, no 2020 tournament) that softball has qualified for the NJCAA DII National Tournament.
